Brussels is not short of agencies

Brussels lacks agents who take the time

OUR STORY

Behind every sale, there is a life project, questions, doubts, and decisions that go far beyond the simple price of a property.

Throughout my career, I realised that the profession often focused on sales, while clients primarily needed guidance and support. Understanding planning regulations, anticipating co-ownership constraints, assessing the impact of a renovation, considering financing options, or simply taking the time to explain things clearly — this is often where the success of a project is determined.

At the same time, I drew a lot of inspiration from what was being done abroad, particularly in New York, where real estate is approached as a genuine service. There, I discovered a culture of high standards, attention to detail, and customer experience that left a lasting impression on me. Our goal is to recreate a similar model, while taking inspiration from it and adapting it to Brussels.

That is how District was born.

OUR WAY OF WORKING

Four principles, and how they make a difference every day

  • HOSPITALITY

Our work begins with hospitality, not with the transaction.

    In practice

The first meeting takes place at District House, over a coffee, and it’s not about securing a mandate.

  • INTEGRITY

We would rather lose a sale than your trust.

    In practice

If your asking price doesn’t hold up, we’ll tell you before taking on the mandate. If it’s not the right time to sell, we’ll tell you that too.

  • HIGH STANDARDS

The details speak before we do.

    In practice

We arrive early for every viewing to open up, air out, and prepare the property. No listing goes live until the file is complete.

  • SUSTAINABILITY

A relationship is worth more than a sale.

    In practice

We remain available after the deed, whether you need a tradesperson, have a question about charges, or have a project that may come back five years from now.

OUR SERVICES

What we do. And what we don’t do

  • Sell

A well-supported valuation, file preparation, presentation, viewings, negotiation, and follow-up through to the deed. One dedicated point of contact from the first coffee to the signing.

    Sell with District
  • Rent

Tenant search, application checks, property inspection, and lease preparation. We see the process through to the handover of the keys.

  • Search for you

You share your criteria with us, and we search for you, including properties that aren’t publicly listed. We sometimes visit properties before you, so you don’t waste your time.

Let us help you with your search
  • Invest

Yield, taxation, renovation potential, and the choice between holding and selling. We put the numbers in front of you and tell you when a property isn’t a good deal.

  • What we don’t do

No property management or rental management. These are two professions in their own right, and doing them halfway would not always be in the best interest of our advice. We prefer to do one thing and do it well.
